Mercedes-Benz Introduces a Flag-Ship Convertible After 44 Years
The last time a flag-ship convertible sporting Mercedes-Benz’s three-pointed star was built 44 years ago when the 1971 280 SE cabriolet was introduced into the market. The SE cabriolet received its 230 horsepower from the 3.5-liter V-8 engine under the hood. Next year will mark a new year for Mercedes-Benz convertibles, with the 2017 S-Class Cabriolet.
