Introduced at the world’s largest electronics and technology show, the Las Vegas CES conference back in 2018, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience technology is designed to give owners an unparalleled experience behind the wheel of their Mercedes-Benz. The MBUX system is an infotainment system that uses advanced artificial intelligence to learn the driver’s preferences and adapt.
MBUX is designed around the user experience as you can imagine. The MBUX system is designed to make life behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle easier thanks to a range of advanced capabilities. The MBUX system is housed in a 10.25-inch centre touchscreen that uses impressive graphics to enhance the experience behind the wheel. The MBUX system can be controlled through touch, through a touchpad or through the steering wheel. It can also be controlled using voice commands which are designed to allow natural speech. The idea is that you can use regular voice tones and speech to change various functions. The system is access through the “Hey Mercedes” voice command. From there, you can speak with the system like you would with a passenger. You can say, for example, that it is cold inside the vehicle to which the system will respond by adjusting climate controls.
MBUX also learns what the driver uses most frequently and adjusts the display to make frequently used functions easier to access. Available in a range of new Mercedes-Benz vehicles from the A-Class to the all-new GLE, the MBUX system takes luxury to another level.
